Rock County's workforce is supplemented by the thousands of students enrolled and/or completing bachelors, credit or technical degree programs from several local and regional continuing education institutions. Annually, these institutions record enrollment levels numbering well over 50,000.

Nearly 4,000 of those enrolled and/or graduating from such programs are Rock County residents. This additional labor pool creates an immediate source of permanent, as well as seasonal, employment.
